Second BloombergApple is reportedly losing two long-term executives, including the vice president in charge of organizing the production process and an operations manager who had already been transferred to the AR division.
Nick Forlenza, vice president of the section responsible for organizing the production process, would have already left Apple while Duco Pasmooij, another vice president who worked on the operations, is reportedly discussing an exit in the near future. Pasmooij had already left the operational team over a year ago by joining the augmented reality team.
According to the report, Forlenza had worked under Sabih Kahn, Apple’s senior vice president of operations, as an executive responsible for organizing the production process. Forlenza also led a team of supply chain and operations managers responsible for global production processes and production equipment.
Pasmooij, on the other hand, has helped lead iPhone production operations for many years, but recently worked under Mike Rockwell, vice president in charge of augmented reality and virtual reality efforts.
Currently Apple has, among its executives, approx 100 vice presidents that help CEO Tim Cook and the senior executive team manage the entire company on a global scale.
